The name Merlot conjures up many images of wine.
However, when you think of the finest quality, the wines of Bordeaux, specifically those from the right bank of the Dordogne River in the Village or Pomerol come to mind. Here one finds the wines of such Chateaux as Petrus and Le Pin. Much like those vineyards, our Estate Vineyards produce Merlot with opulence, finesse, and rich ripe fruit.
Our 2009 Merlot has a bright ruby color and is fruit forward in the nose with aromas that leap from the glass with the scent of blueberries, flowers and smoke. It is an elegant medium-bodied wine with tannins that are sweet and it is full of seductive flavors of black cherries and herbs. It has good structure and will live for many years.

Like the best vintages of its French cousins from Pomerol, it displays elegance and finesse. It has a dark ruby color and a nose of ripe cherries. Look for the flavors of cherries, currants, black berries and spice along with chocolate. The flavors linger in the mouth for almost a minute or more.
