2005 ESTATE GROWN CABERNET SAUVIGNON NAPA VALLEY

WINEMAKER'S NOTES
In the heart of the Napa Valley, just three miles east of St. Helena, Conn Creek flows out of Howell
Mountain through Conn Valley.
All of the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes for Eagles Trace are grown in estate vineyards located in this region.
The lush fruit from these grapes gives Eagles Trace wines great richness of flavor and sense of place.

This wine, a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot, and 7% Cabernet Franc, displays the color
of dark rubies and has the aromas of crème de cassis, cedar,
blackberries, and smoke.
In the mouth, the taste is that of a powerful full-bodied wine with sweet ripe tannins, blackberries, black
cherries, fine herbs, and a touch of charcoal and earth.
The finish is very long and lingers on the palate -
reminiscent of a great Pauillac.
This wine will continue to improve for 10 years or more and will live for 20 plus years.
