Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon

In the heart of the Napa Valley, just three miles east of St. Helena, Conn Creek flows out of Howell Mountain through Conn Valley. All of the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes for Eagles Trace are grown in estate vineyards located in this region. The lush fruit from our grapes gives Eagles Trace wines great richness of flavor and sense of place.

Latitude 38

Latitude 38

A wine with dense ruby-purple color and a nose that rises majestically from the glass.  It fills your nose with the scent of black berries, black currants, smoke and flowers.

This profoundly rich and elegant wine displays a wonderful mouth feel of black fruits, white pepper and sweet, ripe tannins.  It is extremely well balanced and the flavors linger for 45 seconds or more – begging for another taste.

Merlot

Merlot

The name Merlot conjures up many images of wine. However, when you think of the finest quality, the wines of Bordeaux, specifically those from the right bank of the Dordogne River in the Village or Pomerol come to mind. Here one finds the wines of the likes of Chateau Petrus, L’Evangile and Le Pin. Much like those vineyards, our estate wines produce Merlot with opulence, finesse and rich ripe fruit.

Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir

A collaboration of four people:  Art and Gus Anderson, along with the support of their wives, Elaine and Phyllis.  Their friendship dates over 50 years.
Valhalla Vineyard was planted over 20 years ago with a grand cru burgundy clone brought to the United States in the early part of the 20th Century.
Medium to dark ruby color with a nose of red cherries, blackberry and oriental 5-spice.  The cherries and blackberries carry over into the flavors in the mouth.
The wine has an outstanding freshness that lingers in the mouth along with the sweet tannins.
